It looks like it is a weekend of Anita Sarkeesian at A Voice for Men. Don’t everybody jump for joy at once. We only have so much exuberance to use at a time. Our friend Phil in Utah isn’t exactly dancing either, but he still has the energy to point out a couple of things about Sarkeesian that she would not allow you to say if she had a choice.
Anita Sarkeesian, after months of evading donors, has finally come out with the start of her promised video series on gaming tropes. And woven into her work is a somewhat unexpected message. She is actually complaining about damseling. We have to wonder how she complains about something so crucial to her own cause.
Dan Perrins went to the University of Toronto to cover a lecture on the effects of feminism on men. It was a lecture that many people did not want men to hear. In Dan’s research for the assignment, he also did a great job drawing out the reasons that they don’t want the truth to see the light of day.
The University of Toronto is full of badass feminists. We all knew that from the way they showed their bravery at the Warren Farrell protest. But just wait, not only are they badass, they are also showing their ability to learn from experience. We are starting to like and admire some of these feminists.
With the (slightly) altered behavior of feminists at the University of Toronto on display, it has given John the Other an open door to reiterate some questions for feminists that he has been asking for several years. Let’s see if they provide some answers, though we are not suggesting anyone hold their breath just yet.
