Women, despite whatever deluded notions we currently maintain about their capabilities, would do nothing but ensure the end of the human race were they collectively given anything to do outside of childrearing, typing and complaining.

It certainly becomes a challenge to draw the fine line between what is attacking the chivalrous norm and what is attacking women. The two are so interwoven and enmeshed that a cut to one will make the other bleed. Walking on eggshells, given that reality, won’t help.

Above almost all other social entities, religious men rank at the very top in the dogma of mindless male servitude. And while there may well have been a time when the adherence to this position was practical, even laudable, the time for it has passed.

I am, however, resurrecting last years video on Titanic Day as well as the petition that goes with it. On the first drive for Titanic Day we ended up with 218 signatures. I think we can beat that this time.

The proposal is for a commission on “Boys to Men,” and would address the many areas in which man and boys face substantive challenges in modern life. It is has been endorsed by many prominent organizations and individuals.
