It is day two of Domestic Violence Awareness Month and we now bring you the second in a month long series of personal stories from men on the wrong end of an abusive partner. Dr. Tara Palmatier contributes this from a reader of Shrink4men.
A Voice for Men, Shrink4men and the Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men and Women (DAHMW) bring you the first in thirty consecutive stories on the hidden victims of domestic abuse; the men who find themselves with abusive female partners and a system that abusively rejects their needs.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Accordingly, Dr. Tara Palmatier, in conjunction with DAHMW and A Voice for Men, will participate by bringing you awareness of what the domestic violence industry generally won’t: The Invisible Victims.
Our own Dr Tara Palmatier, among the many things she does to support men and boys, serves on the Board of Directors for the Domestic Abuse Helpline for Men and Women (DAHMW). She now makes an appeal for funding and volunteers to this important organization, with the blessing and support of AVFM editorial staff.
