5,000,000 thank yous

Paul Elam took a vacation from his activism in the Men’s Human Rights Movement. No sooner was he out of town than things, lots of them, started happening. The Vladek Filler case reached its probable conclusion, more MHRA posters got feminists in a tizzy and the staff of volunteers and activists at AVFM went into high gear to bring all of it to you without a hitch. In other words, Paul could have taken more time off, but he didn’t want to.

Men not marrying

The fact that more and more men are avoiding marriage has both feminists and traditionalist women all in a tizzy – oh, those mean ol’ men! But what neither seem to care about is the shocking truth that men’s feelings matter, too, and that marriage no longer offers men a positive self-image. AVfM’s MGTOW week coverage continues with this transcript of the classic Karen Straughan video.

Selective silence: sports media mum on violent women

Ty Henry points out some glaring double standards in the coverage of the sports world when it comes to rape and female-perpetuated domestic violence… even against other women. Female athlete shoots at her female partner’s vehicle and beats on it with a bat? Mums the word! Henry puts out another another call to activism for the MRA community to end the silence.

Why are men opting out of relationships?

Why are men going their own way? Well, according to Andy Man it’s because there is isn’t any respect given to the role of husband and father anymore, they’re simply bumbling fools and imbeciles and they certainly don’t have the same legal rights as mothers. Not to mention how male sexuality is constantly being presented as predatory by various feminist campaigns. Andy has something to say to women about the implications of all this.

MGTOWN

MGTOWN. Picture tumbleweeds rolling down a dusty road, through a town of four hundred and twenty-one hard and lonesome–but not lonely–men and women. Picture three outlaws. Bandits. Ner’do’wells, eager to drum up some quick cash. Feminists, eager for a rape hysteria cash cow. They see some likely prospects but these critters might be a bit too ornery to rustle, a bit different then the placid cattle they’re used to.

Don’t be that anti-rape campaign

Is it “rape apology” to try to stop the false reporting of a rape that never happened? Feminists and some government officials think it is, but clearly, they are nuts. Karen Straughan (GirlWritesWhat) brings some sanity and even has distinct policy suggestions that will reduce the crime of rape. Are you listening, feminists? Or are you too interested in shaming men’s sexuality instead?

Shame on me

What is shame? It’s a weapon used to enforce compliance via the implied threat of death due to social exile. In that sense it’s no different than any other kind of violent threat except that it is recognized as legitimate discourse. JTO takes aim on the legitimacy of shame and takes aim on all the ideologues who seek to use shame to force us all to comply to their agendas. Shame on you, you creepy shamers. Shame on you.

A voice for men: MGTOW-central

A Man Going His Own Way, Peter Wright has been in the men’s movement for over 20 years. More than just a political movement, the men’s movent is about men discovering the value of self-determination and individualism: celebrating it and encouraging it to change the cultural zeitgeist. And Peter’s got a bone to pick with certain attitudes that have emerged within the movement.
