Over on Slate and Jezebel they’re busy celebrating the 50th anniversary of Betty Friedan’s The Feminine Mystique. While it’s not as bad a book as some feminist tomes from her generation, there are some women who see a lot less to celebrate than others.
We often get very much involved in seeking to correct the facts about domestic violence. We can even get blinded by the battle. But there are reminders, like this one, of why we very much need to correct this problem.
