Video games are the next stage of evolution for humanity’s physically manifested imagination. We have gone from still pictures, to moving pictures, and finally to interactive pictures. Meanwhile, the Internet has enabled people to depict taboo subject matter more easily through all mediums. Depictions of violence and sex cause controversy between those who seek a free, diverse culture and those who wish to enforce moral standards.
