The terrorists of Jezebel and Splinter News: Stupid enough to make terrorist threats, not brave enough to own It on wikipedia

“Jezebel” is a brand name which needs no introduction to the audience of A Voice for Men, of course. Many will remember Jezebel’s ugly and inhuman attacks on male victims of domestic violence, for example, in a 2007 article.[2] The audience may be less aware of Splinter News, a faction of journalists closely allied with Jezebel.  Jezebel and Splinter News are owned by the same company, UniVision, which is currently in the process of liquidating them.[3]  One can only wonder why, given their history of illegal and unethical behavior.

Splinter News had its brief moment of international fame[4] last month, when one of its “journalists” (Hamilton Nolan) openly called for terrorist threats against the White House. This may sound like a hyperbole, except it isn’t. In an article called “This is Just the Beginning,” Hamilton Nolan described in minute detail some of his terrorist fantasies against the Trump administration:

This is all going to get more extreme. And it should. We are living in extreme times. The harm that is being done to all of us by the people in the American government is extreme … I do not believe that Trump administration officials should be able to live their lives in peace and affluence while they inflict serious harms on large portions of the American population. … Read a fucking history book. Read a recent history book. The U.S. had thousands of domestic bombings per year in the early 1970s … The day will come, sooner that you all think, when Trump administration officials will look back fondly on the time when all they had to worry about was getting hollered at at a Mexican restaurant. When you aggressively fuck with people’s lives, you should not be surprised when they decide to fuck with yours.

You might think that such terrorist threats would be condemned by the Splinter News editorial board or fellow journalists. You’d be wrong. One of the most enthusiastic supporters of Hamilton Nolan is Molly Osberg, who retweeted Nolan’s article days after it was released. She later deleted her tweets in a desperate bid to conceal her ugly behavior, but the Internet never forgets, alas.

To the right is a picture of Hamilton Nolan, a well-fed Marxist whose Utopian vision involves violent terrorist attacks against innocent targets, including the White House staff. To the left is a picture of Molly Osberg, a feminist philosopher whose important contributions to human society include retweeting these bombing threats, abusing journalistic ethics, and preaching the creed that women should have as many sexual partners as possible. Truly, the best that feminism has to offer. You can reach out to Molly Osberg at any time. Please call 718 751 5918. After all, turnabout is fair play: Splinter News doxed a Republican politician despite universal condemnation.[1]

Molly Osberg’s “journalism” makes one wonder whether Splinter News is some kind of gutter for journalists who are so degenerate that it is impossible to parody them, Poe’s law notwithstanding.  One of Ms. Osberg’s important achievements in life involves writing an article which praises sexual promiscuity in women. The article extols the most fundamental virtue of feminism, if you know what I mean, by arguing that women should have as many sexual partners as possible.  “Seriously Though: What’s So Great About Monogamy?” is the title of this gem of wisdom. Molly Osberg, the high priestess of Jezebelite feminism, spells out the most important value of feminism with great enthusiasm: “After all, transgression is hella sexy, and the allure of adultery is at least partially rooted in sneaking around.”

Interestingly, the wannabe terrorists of Splinter News are not brave enough to own their actions in a public forum. A Voice for Men has received a tip from an MRA who reported that the feminist mafia in Wikipedia has prevented an editor from introducing a link about Hamilton Nolan’s article into the relevant Wikipedia page. The introduction of such a link is warranted given the international coverage and given the fact that, well, the public has a right to know that Splinter News is harboring terrorists. And yet as soon as he introduced the link, he received a ban from a Wikipedia user whose name just happens to be “Jezebel’s Ponyo” (whom we identified as Margaret Hartmann, a previous contributor to Jezebel). It is a violation of Wikipedia’s conflict of interest policy for an editor to abuse their authority in this manner, especially since Margaret Hartmann has engaged in unethical behavior to protect her employer. Then again, we already know that “feminist ethics” is an oxymoron.
