The final day of ICMI2023 was fantastic. It was a little more relaxed than days one and two.
We were treated to a dance performance mixing contemporary Western and Indian styles of dance. The young girl who performed had previously been alienated from her father, who was an attendee at the conference. Her dad reports that all of his court cases are behind him and now he can just be a father.
Later we got to see traditional drumming styles from a number of conference attendees.
We also had a session in which we washed troublesome people out of our thoughts,
International Men’s Day was featured and there were several great panel discussions.
The conference included a lot of practical advice and had the same high standards we’ve come to expect from ICMIs.
I personally learnt that India has advanced economically a lot over the last few decades and continues to move forward.
On behalf of the foreign attendees I’d like to thank the organisers and attendees for the warm welcome and hospitality that we received.
ICMI2023 was a huge success. Well done to everyone involved.
