It is with great regret that I have to announce the death of AVFM Senior Editor Suzanne McCarley’s husband, Mac. He passed away just moments ago after a very short battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his wife Suzanne and his son, who was en route home from Afghanistan to see his ailing father.
As most of you know, Suzanne is one of our more respected activists, often digging in to do much of the behind the scenes trench work that others can’t or won’t do.
I did not know Mac. Never even spoke to him. But I know he was totally behind what Suzanne wanted to do for men and boys. He took care of her, and she took care of us. Now it is our turn to do what we can to take care of her.
