Teach men not to rape, ignore women?

Female pedophiles, female incest perpetrators, female statutory rape, female rape of adult males and adult females: it’s “very rare,” right? No. Try again. The reality is that society is just blind to it, or, when society sees it at all, they excuses it, even laugh at it, or rush to tell themselves and everyone else that it’s “unusual.” It isn’t.

We suggest you watch this entire film and think it through, then contemplate that there is much reason to question the statistics. There’ll be a few links below for you to explore.

Although there is a wealth of data to explore, more than we can list here, here are some starting points to further research in this area.

Philip W. Cook: When Women Sexually Abuse Men (note: we hope to be interviewing Cook on the next episode of Revelations with Erin Pizzey, after Erin recovers from her stroke).

Social Work Today: Male survivors of childhood sexual abuse need different treatment from females.

A Marine’s story.

Keith: When sexual predators are a bonus.

Curve Magazine: Lesbian-on-Lesbian Rape.

Sexual violence and gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans, intersex, and queer communities.

Alison Tieman: Manufacturing female victims, marginalizing vulnerable men.

Walter Roman (TDOM): Paying child support to your rapist.

Toy Soldiers: Are there women pedophiles?.

Sherianne Kramera & Brett Bowmana: Accounting for the ‘invisibility’ of the female paedophile.

Canadian Children’s Rights Council: 86% of the victims of female sexual predators aren’t believed.

There’s more than that. Last year I appeared with a few others on Huffington Post Live to discuss that, and even there it was still hard to get at least two of the show participants that this problem is anything other than rare.

The fact is that the vast majority of victims of female sex predators report not being believed, and copious research suggests they are considerably more prevalent than almost anyone wants to believe. But why should any of that surprise us? No one wants to believe women are just as violent and abusive as men, either.

The Men’s Human Rights Movement: dedicated to the radical notion that women are human beings–and thus just as likely to be violent, lying, raping, beating, and otherwise nasty as men are.

Feminism & Gynocentrism: the real rape apologists and victim-blamers.

Or so it appears from my standpoint.

You might want to subscribe to Bane666 on YouTube by the way. Lots of good stuff there, even if I don’t always agree with all of it.
