I have the unpleasant duty of delivering some unfortunate news to AVfM Radio listeners. In order to conduct the all but impromptu interview with George Christensen I had to purchase a telephone voice recorder on the quick.
The unit turned out to be a lemon. The sound quality it produced was so poor that it is completely unsuitable for broadcast. Even with JtO’s technical expertise, he was unable to render it usable.
It is, however, clear enough coming directly from the unit that I will be able to type out a transcript for posting on the site, which I will begin after the show tonight.
My apologies for the disappointment to listeners and I assure you I will be taking this as a lesson. I have ambitions to do many more interviews in the future and will prepare accordingly with tried and true equipment in the near future.
In the meantime, we will move on with the show as scheduled, addressing feminism’s impact on marriage and the family, where there will be more discussion about Christensen’s epic speech, as well as a variety of other issues.
