Some announcements on ICMI’17 on the Gold Coast

The following message is going out via email to all ICMI ticket holders. PE

Dear ICMI’17 Attendee,

As we move ahead toward the much anticipated International Conference on Men’s Issues on the Gold Coast, June 9-11, it is time to share some information with you.

First, one week before the conference starts, you will receive an email with the exact location of the venue, registration times and other relevant information. At this point we suggest you secure lodging in the Broad Beach area, as it is in close proximity to the venue.

Remember, on Friday the 9th at 3 PM, we will kick things off with a screening of The Red Pill Movie, followed by a Q & A with director Cassie Jaye and members of the Red Pill Movie cast.

That will be followed by a New Zealand style hangi with all the fixings. So bring your appetite. You were offered the hangi with your ticket options when you first purchased your seat but if you have not yet paid for it you can go back and add it to your order, following this link.

You can also buy tickets for the event at the same link, so if you have not yet purchased you can do so now!

Also, as happens sometimes, we have three important speakers who will not be able to attend the conference in person. They are Janice Fiamengo, Erin Pizzey and Paul Elam. Last minute difficulties and some health issues played a role in this. However, all three will still be appearing to the conference via Skype. As they say, the show must go on.

As we approach the conference dates, you will be receiving more emails with more details that are very important to the event, so please watch your inbox and check your spam from time to time for announcements.

We all look forward with eager anticipation for the upcoming event. It promises to be a memorable and historical first for Australia and a big step forward for raising awareness of the issues affecting the lives of men and boys.

We look forward to seeing you there in just a month!

Regards,

AVFM Staff
