AVfM Radio: The pathology of disconnection

[box icon=”none”]

Technology is the name for a body of human accomplishment which has levered our species out of a subsistence, survival based existence to a modern culture of plentiful food, modern medicine, transportation, art, philosophy and affluent prosperity. But technology also enables us to place great distance between the initiation of actions and their execution. This is particularly true in the practice of violence, and in war. But the great separation between initiation of the use of force, and execution also allows detachment, and it’s in this great gap that a malevolent and pathological ethic can grow.

Tonight on AVfM Radio JTO and GWW discuss whether proxy violence is the practice of an ethic of evil.
