Pardon our dust!

Good morning, afternoon or evening, as the case may be, depending on where you are on the globe. As you may have noticed over the last few days there has been a slight slowdown in the number of articles. Please pardon the inconvenience but in the long run there will be a payoff for it.

We have just contracted a web development firm out of New York, at considerable expense I might add, to rebuild the AVFM theme from the inside out. I hate to spend a dollar that I don’t have to, especially your dollars, but this is a necessary move up for us. And it will be worth it.

What you will see at the end will address many of the concerns we get about site functionality. After the job is done, which is estimated to take 12-14 days, you will see things like deeper embedding of comments that allow you to have longer exchanges on the site, along with more functional, enhanced comment editing and other improvements.

The site will also be faster and more responsive.

You may already be seeing some of the changes taking place.

We could have gone a much cheaper route, but this is one of those things that needs to be done right the first time, so we secured a tested, well established firm to do the work.

There will also be some aesthetic changes to the site that I am very excited about. Those changes will be made after the upgrading is complete.

As we continue to work on the development of the men’s issues groups with our associates at NCFM while we are overseeing this project, along with other activism that is in the works for the Filler case, this will mean a general slowdown of content for a short period of time. Your patience while this is happening is most appreciated.

We will try to make at least one post a day.

When all is said and done, you will be proud of the results. The best men’s rights website on the net will be that much better, and so will your experience using it.

On an unrelated side note here, please be advised that a women’s organization, unitedwomen.org, on Facebook has become upset by one of the AVFM memes that has made its way around the internet. They are responding with the usual ignorance, hatred and hysteria over the idea that we might take false allegations of rape as a serious issue.

If you have a moment today, you might want to stop by and register your thoughtful comments with them, here.

And don’t forget to LIKE AND SHARE their post. This is great advertising for us.

Again, thanks to all for your patience. And a special thank you to all those who contribute some of your hard earned money to A Voice for Men. We are putting that money to work right now to make this an even better place to be. PE
