Gender columnists and sex discrimination
Why do the Washington Post and the New York Times both have “gender columnists”? Should anyone be surprised that they are both women, the Post’s Monica Hesse and the Times’ Jessica Bennett? Were any men considered or even eligible for the Post’s position? (I think we all know the answer to that question, don’t we?) …
