The [[World Food Programme]] (WFP) is a part of the [[United Nations]]. Despite claiming to be a humanitarian organisation the WFP only provides food to women and girls. Many reports in the [[mainstream media]] have inaccurately claimed that the WFP ''proritises'' food access for women and children. An examination of the WFP's own writings on this topic make it clear that food is never given to men. There is evidence that teenage boys are also excluded. The WFP goes on to assert that men routinely take food from women, without offering any supporting evidence.
